Exploring the digitization of our changing experience of wildness in the face of habitat loss and species extinction. In the last 50 years humans have wiped out 70% of the animals on the planet, replacing them with photographs, digital approximations. In each image an endangered species, which will likely be lost in the coming century, has been returned to their environment in digitized form via a large light painting device. The images are created in real time, with minimal post processing.
